OVER 200 WOMEN. COUNTLESS CHAMPIONSHIPS.
ONE CLUB. ONE COMMUNITY.
Who Are We?
Born in 2010 of a desire to save a struggling recreational team in a struggling league, L.A. Villa F.C. has grown into the largest recreational women’s soccer club in California. We are a 501c3 whose mission is to grow the women’s soccer community in Southern California.
Over 10 years we have provided year-round playing opportunities for more than 200 women, ranging in age from 18-60, in leagues throughout the southland. Combined, our teams have won more than 30 titles, including two Adult State Cup championships, 28 league titles and 2017 CalSouth Adult Women’s Team of the Year.
Our goal is to give women of all ages and skill levels a place to play, and a vibrant community on and off the field. Off the field we brunch, hike, marathon, beer club, and go to every USWNT game we can.
We’ve also made it a priority to help our larger community tap into the lifelong joy that soccer has brought us. As a club we’ve had the honor of volunteering with the Special Olympics, AYSO, TOPSoccer, LA84, and Girls Play LA, among others. Our members regularly coach and mentor youth players.
VIVA LA VILLA!!!!!
Where Do We Play?
At the highest level, our team competes in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL).
During the WPSL off-season, our premier players participate in the So Cal Premier Soccer League (SCP), a highly competitive adult league based in Southern California.
LA Villa teams also play in the LA Municipal League (LA Muni), with one team in the women’s 11-aside A division, and another team in the women’s 7-aside division.
Additionally, LA Villa has 7-aside teams competing in Pasadena’s Adult Soccer League on Sundays and Fridays.
